Money is simply a primary note. When Alexander Hamilton first created the national bank system he had to read, write and become well educated individual willing to contribute to our nation in order to create a system that would last us for centuries. What was the key to our nations success financially? Why is the very system that blasted our nation into supremacy beginning to fail us now? Maybe it's because the average American doesn't put in the equal amount of time Alexander Hamilton took to build our nation in order to preserve our nation.

At first look at this article my conservative Christian values (financially wise) began to kick in. I could hear the Christian financial advisor Dave Ramsey sputtering his beliefs in my mind. "Americans nowadays spend more money than they have this is why we are in national debt", "Debt is dumb. just say no to credit cards, loans, ect." My first thoughts with this article was to go into the direction that we as Americans have lost our moral conduct concerning money. If our nation is in debt it must reflect on the fact that almost every American is in on average 4,000 in credit card debt (not considering student loans, car payments, house payments ect.).  Yes, i believe this does play a small role in our national debt epidemic. However, as i did more research i found this was only the tip of the iceberg. In order for me to truly understand the value of our money i needed to look back to were our currency system originated. The great man himself Alexander Hamilton.
Alexander Hamilton created a banking system that thrived on credit. This gave the country the opportunity to invest in it's people. You must have money to make money. This must come with discernment and their is a balance but it is vital we never forget the essence of our banking system.

When taxes first became implemented during the birth of our nation many Americans took pride in the fact that they were given the opportunity to give back a portion of what they make in order to support our nation. Think of that. The founding fathers and first citizens of our nation WANTED to give money in order to support our nation. A nation they had no clue whether it would thrive, or crash and burn. Yet there was a patriotism within taxation. For the same way Christians tithe, giving 10% to the one who gave us ability to make that money. I want you to think of the last time you complained because of taxes. Yes, i believe there is a balance and we must never allow taxes to dictate our nation into a monarchy system, however a patriotism for contribution needs to arise out of the millennial generation. Yes we are in debt. Who are we in debt to? As i ask around to the adults in my life many are uncertain. This blew me away! The average American citizen fails to be involved in our nations debt epidemic. If the citizens fail to take control and collaborate towards solutions that leaves only politicians to make the decisions for us! That is not a democracy my friends! Yes, our two presidential candidates have poor debt plans. Hillary's economic plan will lessen the value of education such as college, not to mention she has been in the political system for over 30 years and failed to contribute towards destroying the national debt. Trump's economical plan will heighten the high class, destroy the middle class and create a nation run by the wealthy. This is the time to take action and responsibility and us as Americans to prepare plans to solve OUR debt if our presidents fail to do so. Yes, the president is powerful but the people should always remain in greater power. So therefore it is up to each and everyone of us to collaborate in solving this epidemic.
It's my turn to do my share. Through thought and research i have a few suggestions. Being only 17 years old and having no political background besides Faith Christian's student council and no heavy financial responsibility besides occasionally purchasing my own packs of gum i'm gonna do the best i can.
So if money is basically a primary note for the value of gold (as Alexander Hamilton established) what if we used our own resources to recover this debt. What i mean is what if we build up our gold back to were it was before Nixon changed the gold standard. We could do this by creating more jobs by building more gold mines. Offering huge medical and insurance benefits to those involved in the gold process. And overall build our nations gold empire so that we have something for money to have value behind. Because without gold to back our money's value our money is basically just a piece of paper. Yes, this plan may have several flaws, consider this a start. What other 17 year old is coming up with a plan to abolish the national debt? It would be rare to find one. However our generation must strive towards contributing because whoever gets elected their debt plan will most likely fail us and it will be left to us the people to contribute towards our nation.

So to those against blogs i ask you this. Would you like to end up like your parents? Living in a nation full of debt yet clueless as to how we got here or how to change it? As the millennia's we are going to have to clean up the dirt left behind from this very presidential election.  How are we going to do that? By reading text book definitions of democracy, government and freedom? Or by being apart of the civics and political world and educating ourselves just as Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin did. The founding fathers doesn't consist of the men of the past, but rather the men of the past, present and future of our nation.

The American form of Brainwashing

Brainwashing has continued to exist throughout many violent monarchy and communist nations. We have seen this in Germany throughout the holocaust, China through the limited use of technology, North Korea and their belief in the corrupt leader Kim Jong-Un and many more. However what if I told you that America's present youth was experiencing their own form of brainwashing. What if I pushed it even further and said that this brainwashing is being promoted by the rest of our nation, maybe even unknowingly. This brainwashing we are experiencing is the diminishment of free speech. After walking the halls of a high school and consistently hearing the phrase "it's a free country I can say what I want" it may be hard to believe that this epidemic is occurring. However look at our very election this year. Yes, Donald Trump may be a corrupt man but he is the first "politician" I have ever seen to firmly state his opinion on gay marriage, abortion, gun control and border control with the utmost confidence. Watch how the media criticizes Trump's use of free speech. The media is demolishing his campaign because he stands against the "liberal flow of life". This is simply one of the few examples of freedom of speech "going out of style".

I believe their is a lack of confidence in our generation with expressing their opinions. Our generation fears the opinions of others so much as to not state their own.  This is a scary turn in history. Why does our society care about one another's opinions, who are they seeking to please? Or are they looking for approval of their wrongdoings through the approval of others. The effects on this new fad of acceptance will demolish the very essence that makes us human if prolonged. We are learning beings, we were made to learn, explore and discover. Think I'm wrong? Look at Christianity. Christianity is the very process of discovery and education in order to create a deeper relationship with a higher power. In the process of true education one must submit to a higher power of understanding in order to accept wrongdoings or further the mind. The very definition of education is "the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others intellectually for mature life.". For one to truly gain the benefits of education there must be an imparting from the opinions of others, a development of immaturity and most of all a sense of humility.

Occidental College in California created a system with microaggressions and macroaggressions. A macroaggression would be a violation such as rape, murder, fowl language, cheating, stealing etc.. This would be subject to consequence by the school. In the past years they have brought forth the concept of microaggressions. The definition of microaggression was explained as, "to communicate hostile, derogatory or negative messages to target persons based on their marginalized group membership.  You could call these microaggressons "small sins" in their eyes. Students describe microaggressions as anything said that could potentially "emotionally hurt" the ideas or beliefs of another individual. When questioned the students explained that simply asking a Chinese student if they were from China would be considered a microaggression. My question is if the simple logic, bluntness about life and the way we are made is being considered "politically incorrect" how are we supposed to discuss heavy topics such as the holocaust, slavery, and the feminist movement in the classroom without committing a microaggression against the school. Students will be more focused on staying "safe" than learning and creating an individual thought process. What will this result in? This will result in a society that all thinks the exact same. A society that is brainwashed. We are bringing forth a bunch of insecure, uneducated robots.
Yes, I do believe our free speech is being infringed upon. However, I don’t believe this is being done because the first amendment is being broken. The first amendment protects us from the government imposing on our speech not necessarily any other organization. For example if you commit to going to a private school and they have rules such as the one at Occidental College you need to be prepared to follow them with the knowledge that your education is being cut-short. This is why I believe these blogs are so important. Because unlike every other Senior class in America we are becoming aware of our current society before we sign papers to rack up the student loans for a college that is transforming us to think the exact same way as everyone else. A college that teaches that is not an education facility, it is a factory manipulating our minds into conformation.
